The device itself can easily hold about 5lbs, HOWEVER, the DJI Inspire 2 can only safely carry about 1-3lbs to keep it safe and stable during flight. (Flight Conditions, camera payload, and other factors will affect safe payload capacity!)
To control it, set your C1 or C2 buttons to show advanced camera settings. In the settings choose to turn on or off your front LED lights to close or open the dropper.
